Survival Systems owns and operates a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) approved hydrostatic test ramp at our Plaisance Park facility documented to test and requalify high and low pressure DOT cylinders. Our Windows based, digitally measured Galiso hydrostatic testing equipment is certified by DOT to test up to 10.000 psig. On completion of a successful test a computer generated certificate that records all significant test parameters is issued. Replacement cylinders are available for those that fail to meet the test requirements or those that have passed their useful life.

Survival Systems services and refills all breathing air equipment, including SCUBA tanks, SCBA equipment, and DOT cylinders to Compressed Gas Association’s (CGA) Grade “E” and Grade “D” or equivalent air quality standards. We service and repair all classes of fire extinguishers at our facility in Plaisance Park where we have a fully equipped shop that routinely re-fills dry powder, water, foam, and CO2 extinguishers to manufacturer’s specifications using highest quality material and in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA ) 10 standards. Exterior refurbishing including base preparation, and painting is done when required.

Survival Systems is certified to service and recharge FM200 and other clean agent cylinders and valves in their service shop. They also can offer a one-stop shop approach by providing the requisite hydrostatic testing (both low and high pressure) and recharging of CO2 suppression cylinders.
